I hope Amazon has fixed my problem by now. This kit had no tool, a different cover (lacking the short straight edge) and a battery that was 3 mm too large for the watch.I placed a subsequent order on Suunto's web site and everything was good.

This is the only time (since the 90's). The correct part even arrived faster from Suunto than from Amazon (I am in the USA).Amazon gets one star for the quick credit to my account.

This is the fourth or fifth time I've replaced the watch battery in my t6. The "new" part number was correct but this was NOT the battery kit for the t6.

I've been shipped the wrong product by Amazon. The newer covers (with a short straight edge that facilitates removal) and installation tool are great.

My order arrived and the battery kit (battery, replacement tool & cover with "O" ring) had been relabeled.

Well worth the price. I wore out the slot on the back of the watch trying to replace the battery before I received this kit. This item is very convenient to use. I think it should be a standard issued item with all Suunto watches.

Instead of taking it to a watch repair place for a new battery, save your money and do it yourself. It is what it is - a replacement battery for Suunto 6 series watches and others. I like the fact that they include an opening tool and a new battery cover and seal for a guaranteed water tightness.

Other than that, it's a battery and it works. I saw another reviewer who ordered the wrong battery for their Suunto watch and noticed there was some inconsistency in model numbers. Mine was just starting to have these problems but after I changed the battery, it was flawless again. Final note - if your watch has trouble sometimes connecting to the HRM or foot pod, or sometimes misses measurements, it could be that the battery is running low. For anyone looking for a replacement battery for the T6, this is the correct model. Very easy to change the battery yourself (comes with a metal tool to help) and the watch retains its waterproof state thanks to the rubber casket which is included.

I would have liked to have the original cap but the kit does come with a new cap. The kit comes with a cap remover to help remove the cap on the back without tearing it up. Almost 5 stars if Suunto made this information easy to find when you buy the watch. A must have for anyone with a Suunto watch. I wish I knew about this before I tried to remove the battery from my Suunto.
